I’ve been implementing some of the things in Butterfly Marketing 2.0 and have noticed some improvements in website traffic. Mike Filsaime is a very popular marketer and has an almost occult type following, 2nd to none other than possibly Fran Kern.
The premise of Butterfly marketint is constant “small improvements.” I, personally like this approach because I’ve never been much a believer in the “Pie in the Sky” type of promises that you get from most Internet Marketing Gurus. Believe it or not, some of Mike Filsaime’s stuff really works.
I probably learned as much from Mike Filsaime’s marketing approach to sell the course as I learned from the actual course. When you buy something from Mike, it is a fascinating internet marketing lesson. He first grabs you with terrific marketing copy, but then the really interesting part happens. Once you decide you want to buy something from Mike, he tries numerous times to upsell you. I imagine this is where he makes most of his money. It is really a stroke of genius how he does it. If you have never bought anything from him, then I’d buy something just to learn the process. I recorded the whole process on video and it has been one of the finest learning tools I have ever had concerning internet marketing.

There are many new products on the market today that charges anywhere from $49 to $1000’s of dollars showing how to create your “Business Blog Website.”
Many people believe that a “blog is a blog” and that a free blog website is just as good as having your own blog site. Is this true?
As many of you know, I’ve been testing products, web design, and internet traffic techniques, since the internet became public. The answer is: A free blog site doesn’t compare to the ranking you can get with a properly set up blog website on your own server.
Is there exceptions to this rule? Yep, a few, but they are rare and far inbetween.
Are the “How to build a Blog websites” courses worth the money? A few of them are. I’m not going to recommend any of them in this post because I have created a free website that will “at least” get you started in the right direction. It shows you how to get your blog up and running.
One of the major concerns of new people starting a business blog is that they have their website hosted on a lousy server that won’t optimally support a all the blogging scripts that are necessary. They ask “How do I add a blog to my website without moving my whole website to a new server?” The quick answer is buy a new domain that is your website name + blog. So if my domain name is abc123.com then buy a domain name that is abc123blog.com then use a host equipped for blogging. Most hosts make you pay dearly in figuring out how to get all the scripts working correctly.
